Congratulations to the OpenCerts team for their milestone release, as well as Patrice Choong of Ngee Ann Poly and the team at Attores for getting this initiative started.

NextID Pte Ltd has developed a certificate issuance service known as “NextCert” which is designed to help institutions issue verifiable credentials. These credentials are anchored to the public Ethereum blockchain.

We currently have a working certificate issuance application based on the OpenCerts schema pioneered by GovTech. We plan to support other schema formats in due course and to introduce by year end an ID wallet for managing and sharing these credentials.
